Maintenance

Clean mechanical filter media regularly as required by the aquarium's stocking level. Rinse biological media gently in removed aquarium water to help preserve beneficial bacteria. Inspect the impeller, hoses and seals during routine servicing.

For the UV model, follow the manufacturer's instructions for UV lamp maintenance and replacement. Never look directly at an exposed UV lamp while it is operating.
