Anubias Nana 'Petite' is a miniature form of Anubias with small, dark green leaves and a compact, slow-growing habit. It is one of the hardiest aquarium plants available and is ideal for nano tanks, shrimp tanks and adding fine detail to aquascapes.
As an epiphyte, it grows best attached to driftwood or rocks rather than planted in the substrate.
Sold as 1 plant with around 6 leaves.
Plant Type: Epiphyte (rhizome plant)
Placement: Foreground or attached to hardscape
Lighting: Low to medium
CO₂: Not required
Growth Rate: Slow
Temperature: 22–28°C
pH: 6.0–7.5
Difficulty: Easy
Attach the rhizome to driftwood or rock using cotton thread, fishing line or aquarium-safe plant glue. Do not bury the rhizome in the substrate, as this can cause it to rot. The roots will grip the hardscape over time.
Anubias does well in low light and grows slowly, so it needs very little maintenance. Placing it in a shaded spot helps prevent algae forming on the leaves.
