• Distinctive Appearance: Features a rounded body, elegant flowing fins and a characteristic head growth that develops with age.

• Assorted Colours: Available in various colours and patterns, depending on stock.

• Peaceful Temperament: Generally sociable and best kept with other similarly sized, slow-moving fancy goldfish.

• Adult Size: Commonly reaches around 15–20cm, with some growing larger.

• Water Temperature: Approximately 18–24°C.

• pH Range: Around 6.5–8.0.

• Omnivorous Diet: Enjoys quality goldfish pellets, flakes and suitable vegetable and protein-rich foods.

• Long Lifespan: Can live for 10–15 years or longer with excellent care.

Care Requirements:

• Provide a spacious aquarium of at least 150 litres for one adult, with additional capacity for each extra fish.

• Maintain excellent filtration and stable water quality, as goldfish produce considerable waste.

• Choose smooth decorations and avoid sharp objects that could injure their delicate head growth and fins.

• Feed a varied, balanced diet and avoid overfeeding.

• Avoid fast-swimming or aggressive tank mates that may outcompete them for food.

Suitable For: Spacious freshwater fancy goldfish aquariums.
