This attractive variety of Neon Tetra features the iconic iridescent blue stripe and vibrant red colouring, complemented by a distinctive metallic sheen across the head. Small, peaceful and active, these schooling fish look spectacular swimming together in a planted freshwater aquarium.

Peaceful Schooling Fish: Best kept in groups of at least 6, preferably more, to encourage natural behaviour.

pH Range: Approximately 5.0–7.0.
Omnivorous Diet: Accepts quality micro pellets, small flakes and suitable frozen or live foods.

Care Requirements:

Provide a planted aquarium with shaded areas and open swimming space.
Maintain stable water parameters and good water quality.
Keep in a school of at least 6, with larger groups generally displaying more natural schooling behaviour.
Feed small portions of appropriately sized food.
Avoid large or predatory tank mates that may eat smaller fish.
