Gold Axolotls feature a pale golden body with reflective hues, light eyes, and feathery external gills that sway as they move. Known for their peaceful nature and quirky behaviour, they love exploring, lounging, and interacting with their environment (and sometimes their keeper!).

Water Parameters:
Temperature: 16–20°C (cool water only – no heaters)
pH: 6.5–7.5
Ammonia/Nitrites: 0 ppm – very sensitive to water quality
Diet: Carnivorous – feed earthworms, axolotl pellets, bloodworms, and frozen meaty foods
Temperament: Peaceful and solitary – best kept alone or with other axolotls of similar size
Best Kept With: Other axolotls only – no fish, shrimp, or snails
