A varied diet helps maintain their health and enhances their natural golden colouration.
Gold Cloud Minnows are active schooling fish and should ideally be kept in groups of at least six or more. They appreciate planted aquariums with open swimming spaces, gentle water movement and stable water conditions.
Their peaceful temperament makes them suitable for community aquariums with other small, non-aggressive fish that prefer similar cooler temperatures. Avoid keeping them with large or predatory species that may view them as food.
