Planting & Care

Ludwigia sedioides naturally grows in shallow water, with its distinctive foliage spreading across the surface. It is best suited to ponds, paludariums and larger open-top aquariums with strong lighting.

Provide nutrient-rich conditions and stable water quality to encourage healthy growth and vibrant leaf colour. Avoid excessive surface agitation, as this can disturb its floating rosettes.

Important: Ludwigia sedioides is not a typical fully submerged aquarium plant. It generally performs best with access to the water surface and suitable shallow-water conditions.
